I firmly believe innovation and creativity are key elements in any industry, especially in the non-profit sector. The opportunity to propose original and out-of-the-box solutions is a driving force for me. Having a unique perspective and a collaborative team is instrumental to success. As a recent graduate with a political science degree from Virginia Tech, I have amassed a substantial portfolio of research and strong opinion pieces dedicated to the studies of politics, economics, and activism.
Throughout my career in communications and copywriting, I have been able to strengthen not only key writing and researching skills, but also develop my passion for creation. I take great pride in how much I've been able to grow and learn during this time. In recent years, I've been able to wear many hats: graphic designer, video editor, copy-editor, author, researcher, and much more. I have had the opportunity to write dozens of long-form blog posts, generate short-form social media posts, create graphic designs, edit videos, develop fundraising campaigns, write and submit dozens of grants and proposals, meet with coalitions and partner organizations, collaborate on research publications, and much more. I am eager to continue my writing career and hone my skills even more!
